Unit 5. Who is Our Neighbour? (ആരാണ് നമ്മുടെ അയൽക്കാർ?)
Sam and Lizzy entered their new neighbor's yard. We can see the picture in page 110.
They saw many children there. They were their friends who lived nearby. Some were playing with toys. Some were playing games. (അവർ അവിടെ ഒരുപാട് കുട്ടികളെ കണ്ടു. അവരെല്ലാം അടുത്ത വീടുകളിൽ താമസിക്കുന്ന അവരുടെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളായിരുന്നു. ചിലർ പാവകൾ കൊണ്ട് കളിക്കുന്നു. ചിലർ ഗെയിമുകൾ കളിക്കുന്നു.)
Conversation (page 110 & 111)
Children :
Uncle Tom... Aunt Betty, here are our friends. (ടോം അങ്കിൾ... ബെറ്റി ആൻ്റീ, ഇതാ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടുകാർ.)
Sam :
I am Sam and she is Lizzy. (ഞാൻ സാം, ഇത് ലിസ്സി.)
(Sam introduced themselves to uncle and aunt. സാം അവരെ അങ്കിളിനും ആൻ്റിക്കും സ്വയം പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി.)
Uncle and aunt :
Hello, welcome Lizzy and Sam. Have this. ( ഹലോ, ലിസ്സിക്കും സാമിനും സ്വാഗതം. ഇതു കഴിക്കൂ.)
(Uncle and aunt gave them two glasses of fruit juice. അങ്കിളും ആൻ്റിയും അവർക്ക് രണ്ട് ഗ്ലാസ്സ് ഫ്രൂട്ട് ജ്യൂസ് കൊടുത്തു.)
Sam and Lizzy :
Thank you, Uncle Tom and Aunt Betty. (ടോം അങ്കിളിനും ബെറ്റി ആൻ്റിക്കും നന്ദി.)
(Sam and Lizzy smiled at them. സാമും ലിസ്സിയും അവരെ നോക്കി പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു.)
Uncle and aunt :
Children, this is your home. All these toys are for you. You can come here at any time. (കുട്ടികളേ, ഇത് നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടാണ്. ഈ കളിപ്പാട്ടങ്ങളെല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടിയാണ്. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏതു സമയത്തും ഇവിടേയ്ക്ക് വരാം.)
(Sam and Lizzy walked towards the toys. They read the board in front of the house. Children's Paradise. സാമും ലിസ്സിയും കളിപ്പാട്ടങ്ങളുടെ നേരേ നടന്നു. വീടിൻ്റെ മുന്നിലെ ബോർഡ് അവർ വായിച്ചു. 'കുട്ടികളുടെ പറുദീസ'! )

എങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് സ്വയം പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി കൊടുക്കാം?
സാം ടോമങ്കിളിനും ബെറ്റി ആൻ്റിക്കും അവരെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊടുത്തത് പഠിച്ചല്ലോ. ഇതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ സ്വയം പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത് പറഞ്ഞു പരിശീലിക്കൂ.

Fill in the blanks (page 114)
There are pictures of five household items in this page. Read the names of items and fill suitably.

Fill the remaining by yourself.
Write conversation (page 115)
One day Sam and Lizzy saw a beautiful teddy bear on a chair in the verandah of 'children's paradise'. What would be their conversation? Complete it.
Sam: Hey, look there is a teddy bear.
Lizzy: It looks very beautiful.
Sam: Shall we play with this?
Lizzy :
Write Sentences (page 116)
There are many toys and playthings in Children's Paradise. Look at the pictures and write down where they are placed.

Prepare a description about the scene you are seeing in the picture.
