Unit 4. The Jungle Fight
Today miss shown us her wrist bands and rings which has animal faces and performed the fights from beginning.
Giraffe was the winner of fourth fight. Now the bull come forward to fight with him.
Fight 5 (page 85)
Bull: Come, fight with me. (വരൂ, എന്നോട് പൊരുതൂ.)
Giraffe : Are you challenging me? I am the tallest. No one can beat me. (നീ എന്നെ വെല്ലുവിളിക്കുന്നോ? ഞാനാണ് ഉയരം കൂടിയവൻ. ആർക്കും എന്നെ തോൽപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല.)
The giraffe stepped forward. The bull butted his horns on the giraffe. The giraffe fell down and howled with pain. (ജിറാഫ് മുന്നോട്ടു വന്നു. കാള അവൻ്റെ കൊമ്പു കൊണ്ട് ജിറാഫിനെ കുത്തി. ജിറാഫ് വേദനിച്ച് കൂവിക്കൊണ്ട് താഴെ വീണു.)

howled - നിലവിളിച്ചു
pain - വേദന

Cloth Pin Puppets
Miss shown us cloth pin puppets of different animals. It was very interesting to watch the animal's mouth move open and close when she pressing the pin.
Try this and perform the dialogue too.
Fight 6 (page 86)
Bull: Come on... Who is the next fighter? (മുന്നോട്ട് വരൂ.. ആരാണ് അടുത്ത പോരാളി?)
Horse: I am here to fight with you. (നിന്നോട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടാൻ ഞാനിവിടെ ഉണ്ട്.)
The bull and the horse stood face to face. The bull rushed to the horse. The horse stepped aside. The horse kicked the bull on his belly. The bull fell down. (കാളയും കുതിരയും മുഖാമുഖം നിന്നു. കാള കുതിരയ്ക്കു നേരെ കുതിച്ചു. കുതിര ഒരു വശത്തേക്ക് ഒഴിഞ്ഞു മാറി. കുതിര കാളയുടെ വയറ്റത്ത് തൊഴിച്ചു. കാള മറിഞ്ഞു വീണു.)
